Head of Central Jakarta Sport and Youth Sub-Department, Edward Situmeang stated, the construction of the field is requested by the residents, especially the youths. As the area is lacking sport facilities.

"Since the area is not quite huge to build futsal field, so we're just going to build volleyball field," he stated, Tuesday (10/6).

According to him, the construction is also purposed to avoid cars parking on the land. "It will also be installed with lamps, and provided with supporting facilities such as ball and the net," he explained.

After it is built, the management is handed over to the local RT/RW. But the manager is not allowed to use the field for earning money.

"We also want residents to maintain the cleanliness," he asserted.
